June 13th game in Souris

Our longest road trip of the season took us to Souris and it was a nice warm evening.

The first half saw us play a little tentative in getting used to the field and some bigger players on the opposition.
10 minutes in we were awarded a PK and Grace buried it giving us the lead...however #12 scored 5 minutes later to tie things up at 1-1.

At the 37 min mark a great throw in by Georgia to Grace and a well placed shot gave us a 2 1 lead at half.

Makayla hurt her knee during the first half and came out for the balance of the half.She was replaced by Hope who bravely came in with no keeper practice this season thus far.
Mikaya came back in the second half and played well for the balance of the game.

In the second half we continued to press and at the 57 minute mark Kate Steele scored on a great play  followed with another goal by Georgia Baker 17 minutes later. Georgia celebrated her 13th birthday on the 13th with this goal.Good work girls with a 4-1 win.
